WorkCover Queensland Injury Risk Reduction Initiatives
What is the program?
The Injury Risk Reduction Initiatives (IRRI) program, led by WorkCover Queensland, is focused on early intervention and reducing the risk of workplace injuries and associated costs for our customers.
WorkCover works with industry bodies, employers, unions, occupational injury experts, and Queensland Government regulators including Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, to pilot injury risk reduction initiatives.
Feedback from participants and stakeholders as well as other early measures show that these pilots could be ultimately effective in reducing injury risk, cost and number of claims.
