Reach stacker - RS
To operate a reach stacker you need to have an RS high risk work licence (HRW).
The reach stacker licence covers powered reach stackers (with a capacity of three tonnes or more) that have an attachment for lifting, lowering, moving and travelling with a shipping container.
In Queensland, until 31 December 2016, a person who holds a non-slewing mobile crane licence (CN) is also permitted to operate a reach stacker without holding an RS licence. From 1 January 2017, the RS HRW licence class must be held for the operation of a reach stacker.
Note: this licence cannot be used to operate a portainer crane.
