Deborah's story

Dr Deborah Simmons was diagnosed with PTSD after being a first responder at the Grosvenor mine explosion in Moranbah in May 2020. This is the story of how she was able to recover, and get back to work as an anaesthetist and rural generalist.

Richard's story

Richard was seriously injured when he came off his e-scooter while commuting to work in November 2021. With WorkCover support, he's been able to get back to work and life.
