Spread the word! 2025 Farm safety calendar competition is now open

Queensland primary school students are encouraged to draw and colour a picture to illustrate a farm safety message for the 2025 Farm safety calendar competition.

The Workplace Health and Safety calendar promotes safety awareness on farms and rural setting about messages relating to electricity, animals, tractors and machinery, quad bikes and water as well as health and wellbeing.

Twelve student artworks will feature for each month of the year with the winners also taking home a $250 gift card plus $500 for their school.

In 2023, 1,400 entries were received for the 2024 Farm safety calendar competition and 30,000 calendars distributed state-wide to schools and the community.

Spread the word to your local community and schools to encourage local kids to help make Queensland a safe place to live and work.
