Results are in! Insights from our 2024 e-bulletin survey
We asked for your help to understand what we’re doing right and how we can improve our Rehabilitation and Return to Work e-bulletin to better meet your needs.
You can expect to see us implementing changes in direct response to your feedback over coming editions.
Best practice
Your input counts. Best practice for us as a regulator is to listen to your feedback and deliver the workers’ compensation and rehabilitation and return to work (RRTW) information and resources you need to support your business and help workers to recover and return to work early and safely.
Why this is important
We want to support you to be capable and confident in preventing injuries and assisting injured workers to make an early and safe recovery and return to work.
Our survey confirmed that most of our readers are rehabilitation and return to work coordinators (RRTWCs). Work health and safety representatives, senior leaders and supervisors are also well represented in our subscriber network.
You told us that you value the RRTW e-bulletins and would like future topics to include:
- targeting articles to key groups, including
- less experienced RRTW professionals
- small businesses (with up to 49 employees)
- more articles focused on
- psychosocial injuries and RRTW for these injuries
- case law and legislative changes
- case studies demonstrating how to overcome challenges and achieve successful RRTW
- recognising the achievement of RRTWCs
- insurer and regulator processes
- RRTW resources, including resources you can share with your workers.
What actions will we take now?
You can expect us to implement changes in direct response to your feedback over coming editions, including:
- highlighting legislative changes and workers’ compensation prosecutions and what they mean for you
- articles on regulator processes (Medical Assessment Tribunals and Review and Appeals)
- welcoming subject matter experts to guest-author injury-focused articles
- adding a ‘What’s on’ section to this e-bulletin, to help inform you about upcoming professional development and networking opportunities.
We will continue to focus on physical and psychological injuries, informed by current trends and campaigns. We will include evidence-based best practice and show you what it may look like in everyday work.
