Jordan will forever be an adored and treasured son to his parents, and very much loved by his partner, sister, grandparents, and extended family. His friends loved and admired him, he brought them fun times and laughter, and his work mates respected him and looked up to him. Jordan’s calm and strong presence always felt like a safety net to those around him. Jordan will be forever engraved in our hearts as a beautiful human – a gentle giant, with a quiet strength of character, and calm and measured approach to everything in life. He was thoughtful, humble, kind, loving, funny, smart, loyal, and absolutely committed to those he loved. Jordan had a passion for AFL and played for most of his life – from an Auskicker to a Senior. He loved music festivals and dancing. He loved 4-wheel driving and camping. He was living his best life. The memories and photos are priceless. Losing him so tragically through a workplace incident has shattered our lives, our hearts and souls. We also died that day with him, and the rest of our lives will forever be darkened by our tragic loss. Noone should ever go to work and not come home to their loved ones. A devastating senseless loss that sears pain and trauma into every cell of our being; forever changed, forever broken, forever lesser. For families and friends left behind by loved ones lost through workplace incidents, the pain is heavy, sometimes too heavy to carry. The terrible effects are traumatic, far reaching and immeasurable. The love is immeasurable, the grief is immeasurable. You are forever engraved in our broken hearts Jordan.
