A Customer Advisor at WorkCover Queensland, Anita's philosophy about case management and return to work is that it should be focused around having a clear understanding of the 'why' behind any decisions, plans and goals.
Her role in the Specialist Claims team at WorkCover Queensland involves working with people who have had significant and life-altering injuries, and in this position, Anita has led many initiatives to provide guidance to those involved in burns claims. Her approach is to work closely with providers to deliver information sessions on scar management while also helping to build support networks for workers and their families.
Anita has also been involved in creating guidelines for her peers to improve outcomes for people with burns injuries. Her commitment to ensuring the best possible outcomes for workers and their families has been recognised by all involved in the rehabilitation and return to work process.
