Major hazard team activities
Workplace Health and Safety Queensland's major hazard team is a group of qualified inspectors tasked with auditing and assessing the performance of operators in meeting their obligations.

Major hazard team activities include:
- providing advice on reducing risk and complying with the legislation
- auditing determined and licensed Major Hazard Facilities (at least annually)
- assessing the safety case and associated documents
- assessing the potential for a major incident by reviewing notifications received (Form 536 (PDF, 0.14 MB)) of facilities holding chemicals exceeding 10 per cent of schedule 15 threshold.
